Counter-Targeting was developed from more than a decade of CIA operational targeting experience, where the mission was to find difficult targets and develop pathways to reach them despite the obstacles in the way. Sophisticated security didn’t end the targeting process. It became part of the problem to solve.
Recce Group purpose-built Counter-Targeting to turn that targeting discipline around: find the pathways first, then help security deny them before an adversary can use them.
Different adversaries use different methods. Testing them credibly requires different expertise.
Recce Group draws from a vetted network of specialists across surveillance, technical security, cyber operations, special operations, social engineering, forensic accounting, and other disciplines.
We assemble the expertise each pathway requires, rather than forcing every problem through a single capability.

Counter-Targeting requires access to sensitive information about the principal, their ecosystem, and the security program protecting them.
We collect only what the engagement requires, operate within defined authorization, and tightly control what the work produces. Work product is provided only to the client and is not published, promoted, or used for marketing.
